初森 幸子
Once,
There was a time in my life when I didn’t know who I was anymore.
I wasn’t myself—at least, not the person I am today.
I wasn’t able to smile.
I had forgotten how to care, how to notice the sun above,
how to love and protect myself.
I had forgotten what truly matters.
And yet, in that forgetting, I learned something:
how easy it is to lose ourselves.
But also—how possible it is to return.
Today,
I find myself through photography.
It gives me a way to express who I am,
a way to connect with the world and with my husband,
as we build a shared vision through the lens.
Meeting him—and the camera—at sixty changed everything.
It taught me that no matter our age,
we can discover something new to be passionate about.
And that passion can change our lives.
So I keep learning,
keep seeking,
and with each photo,
I collect small joys—one at a time—
on my way to new landscapes,
inside and out.
